August, 2004  Newsletter of the Wings Of Love Ministry

Welcome to the first ever newsletter from the Wings of Love Ministry!  We intend to publish these on an “as needed” basis to bring our friends around the world up to date with what’s going on in our ministry and how you can help.   We will cover what has been happening, current events, and what’s coming up in the future for our ministry, as well as an updated list of  our current needs, so read and enjoy!

What's Been Happening  Since this is the first edition of our newsletter, we will have to reach back a ways to bring some of you up to date.  We “officially” incorporated  this ministry with the state of Arizona on November 14th of 2003 with the intention of putting together a transportation organization that could support other ministries and charities.  We thought it might be a while before we were actually in business carrying anything, but God had other plans!  By the time spring of 2004 arrived, we had logged something like 10,000 miles on our F-550*s odometer, carrying everything from Radio transmitters to medical supplies to food.  During that period we operated in support of several different ministries including Friend Ships, Blessings For Obedience, and Hidden Peoples Ministries.

In-between the various trips we have been busy working on our DC-4. The cargo bay has been thoroughly cleaned by diligent volunteers while numerous inspections are being performed by our technical staff.
